STU-101: First Year Compass Studio (1 Credits)
First Year Compass Studio is a one credit course designed to guide Salve students in planning for meaningful careers and purposeful lives. Through intentional exploration of their personal values, academic and professional goals, life experiences, and Salve's Mercy tradition, students will learn the fundamentals of design thinking to help them get the most out of their Salve experience. Compass Advisors serve as the instructors for the course, and together with an assigned peer mentor, guide students in navigating university life.

STU-201: Sophomore Compass Studio (1 Credits)
Sophomore Compass Studio is a one credit course designed to provide a foundation in career development fundamentals. Modeled as a professional conference weekend, this course leads students through a series of engaging workshops and sessions where they get to dive deep into subjects like: resume building, interviewing, and networking; as well as choosing from topics that are meaningful for them such as: graduate school and Job search processes, finding internships, and exploring fellowships and research opportunities. Students will interact with career coaches, alumni, and employer representatives throughout the course.
