American Sign Language (ASL)

ASL-111:  Elementary American Sign Language I  (3 Credits)  
This course provides students with an introduction to American Sign Language. Students will learn the phonology, morphology, and syntax of ASL in addition to learning more about the experience of deaf and hard of hearing individuals and communities in the United States.
Fulfills Core Requirement in Languages.

ASL-112:  Elementary American Sign Language II  (3 Credits)  
Pre-requisite(s): ASL-111 is required.  
This course is a continuation of Elementary American Sign Language I. Students will deepen their knowledge of the phonology, morphology, and syntax of ASL in addition to learning more about the experience of deaf and hard of hearing indrviduals and communities in the United States.
