Students electing to major in Dance complete a minimum of 120 credits to earn a bachelor’s degree, including 41–44 credits of core courses and 40 credits in their major:

An audition is required for the B.A. in Dance.  Prospective students should audition to gain entrance into the program during their application process.  Current students can schedule an audition by reaching out to Dance Program Coordinator Lindsay Guarino.

Choreography & Performance Concentration

Students interested in pursuing a professional career in performance and/or choreography should add this concentration.  Through the process of developing one’s artistic voice, course requirements allow for students to deepen their skills and experiences in performance and choreography and graduate with strategies and tools for success in the field.

Requires an audition for acceptance or permission of program coordinator no sooner than second semester of freshman year.
