Wealth Management Minor
The Wealth Management minor equips students with applied skills in the areas of asset management and personal financial planning. Emphasis is placed on goals-based planning, investment and portfolio construction, retirement and risk management, tax-aware decision-making, and professional readiness for roles in private wealth, asset management, financial services and related fields. Note: This minor provides a strong foundation in financial planning topics. It does not, by itself, constitute certification or registration for any professional designation.
Students interested in credentials should consult the department. The Wealth Management minor is open to students in any major except for Finance. Finance Majors interested in Wealth Management have the current ability to pursue a Wealth Management concentration within the Major.
