Dual Degree Mathematics (B.A.) and Engineering (B.S. or M.S.)

Students complete the requirements for the B.A. in mathematics, and for their three years at Salve Regina University must maintain a 3.25 GPA, with no grade less than a C- in any mathematics or science courses. Before continuing their studies at Washington University in St. Louis students must additionally have the written recommendation of the program liaison. After three years of study at Salve Regina University, students continue their study at Washington University in St. Louis, either for two years for the B.S or three years for the M.S. in engineering. In either case, upon successful completion of courses at the end of the fourth year, students in this program are awarded the B.A. in mathematics and graduate with their class at Salve Regina University’s commencement.

Major Requirements
Students seeking the B.A. in mathematics from Salve Regina University and a second degree in engineering from Washington University in St. Louis are required to take the following courses at Salve Regina University:
