SCD299: Tutoring and Mentoring in a Multicultural Society II

In this course tutors and mentors help diverse secondary students develop effective learning strategies and positive attitudes about themselves.  Candidates learn to analyze demographic and curricular data as they continue to develop intercultural competence.  Requirements include weekly seminar participation and a total of 15 hours of tutoring/mentoring per semester.
Prerequisite(s): Secondary Education majors/minors of sophomore or higher standing.
