ELC299: Tutoring and Mentoring in a Multicultural Society II1 Credit(s) This course, the continuation of ELC 298, affords teacher education candidates the opportunity to design lessons that meet the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards. Once lessons are created, candidates work in a Head Start or other Pre-K classroom one morning each week implementing their lessons. This experience contributes to the development of a lifelong commitment to community service and culturally responsive pedagogy. Prerequisite(s): For Early Childhood majors of sophomore standing.
