Early Childhood Education (B.S.)

Major Requirements


This major is designed to ready candidates to apply for R.I. teacher certification in grades pre-kindergarten-2. Early Childhood majors may minor in Special Education. Early Childhood Education majors complete a minimum of 120 credits to earn a bachelor’s degree: 49-51 credits of core courses, 0-3 elective credits, and 74 credits of major courses.
