ADJ431: Justice and the Constitution

3 Credit(s)
The Constitution’s Preamble makes explicit the Framers’ intention to “establish justice.” This course examines the United States Constitution with particular attention given to Supreme Court decisions that apply the Constitution to resolving social issues of importance. Our objective, through discussion and debate, will be to determine whether the Constitution, as interpreted, fulfills the promise to “establish justice.” (Offered in the spring semester.)
